Sixth line   snap  snapped snapping  discuss the rule if you have a short vowel

Then a consonant like p  you double the last consonant before adding the

Ending.

Seventh line stop  stopped  stopping

Numbers on a marker board then trade places

At 1:00 assign workbook pg. 487-488  check and send home

When finished read AR Books or from the green baskets or let them do new

Packets until 1:45

Allow daily reader to read their book to the class
