Intro. story using Building Background and oral vocab . cards. Read “School is Starting.” Check comp. using transparency 1. Complete wb page 2. Evaluation: WB pg. 2, student response State Standard 1.1, 1.4, 1.5		Objective: Lesson 1.3 To identify the place value of 2 digit numbers. Activities: Use tens and ones manipulatives to practice skill. Complete p. 7 together. Complete page 8 independently and check. Evaluation: Assign practice Pg. 1.3 for homework. State Standard 2.1.3.C		Objective: Students will identify statements, questions, and complete sentences. Activities: Daily Language Activity 1. Use Grammar transparency 1 and 2. Use PB 5 for a running record. Evaluation: Monitor responses and participation. PB page 4. Homework: Read Main Selection at home. State Standard 1.1, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5		Objective: Lesson 1.4 To read and write #s to 100. Activities: Use one, tens, hundreds workmat and place value models. Complete p. 9, 10 together. Use problem solving skills to make reasonable estimates to solve problems Activities: Complete p. 13-14 as class. Evaluation: Assign practice pg. 1.6 as homework. State Standard 2.4.3.A	Objective: Students will identify sentences, statements and questions. Activities: Daily Language Practice. Use trans. 5 to review. Complete GPB 5 as a test. Evaluation: Check and grade	Objective: To read and discuss in Time For Kids Activities: Read and discuss. Evaluation: Complete	Spelling Final test Objective: Students will take lesson 1 final test. Activities: Give test to those required to take final test on lesson 1. Evaluation: Check for neatness and accuracy.
